Prawn Dim Sum


Prawn Dim-sum

16 gyoza wrappers
250g raw prawn, de-veined and peeled
50 g bamboo shoots, finely sliced
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp rice wine
1 tsp caster sugar
1 tsp sald
a grinding of pepper

For The Dip:
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 red chilli, finely chopped
1 tbsp soy sauce

How To Make:
1. With a food processor, puree the shrimp up into pulp. Then add the sliced bamboo shoots, rice wine, sesame oil, salt, sugar and pepper.
2. Put the gyoza on a clean surface. Place prawn dough in the middle of gyoza.
3. Using your fingers, wet the edge of the gyoza, then close, do it with a little push.
4. Place the shrimp dumplings in a bamboo boat that has been covered with hot translucent paper. Steam the dumplings for 4-5 minutes.
5. Mix all ingredients for dip, place in small bowl.
6. Enjoy the prawn dim sum with dipping in the sauce.
