Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon with Mushroom Sauce

Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon with Mushroom Sauce Recipes

Ingredients:
4.5 oz of button mushrooms, thinly sliced
2 bacon rashers
2 beef eye fillet steaks
1 medium white onion, finely chopped
1 cup beef stock
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
3 tsp cornflour

How To Make:
1. Cut the bacon skin with a sharp knife, then wrap a piece of bacon on each piece of steak. Secure with a toothpick.
2. Dalan a saucepan, heat the butter and oil. Cook the steaks over high heat, until browned and cooked in all sides.
3. Place steaks in a place and keep warm until serving.
4. Using the same pan, saute onion in remaining butter mixture. Stir until smooth.
5. Add the mushrooms, stirring, until mushrooms are tender.
6. Mix corn flour with stock and spices. Add to saucepan, stirring constantly, until boiling and thickened.
7. Place steaks in a serving dish, pour the sauce and serve with vegetables.
