Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 3/4 cups plus 3 tbsp heavy cream
1 cup mapple syrup
1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cardamom
1/2 tsp salt
2 pounds strawberries, hulled and quartered

How To Make:
1. Preheat oven to 375F degrees.
2. In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar, 1 3/4 cup heavy cream, baking powder, cardamom and salt. Stir until a dough. Place in a pan, and divide dough into 6 pieces.
3. Brush each slice with 3 tablespoons heavy cream, sprinkle with 2 tablespoons pestle sugar. Then place the pan in the oven, bake until the crust and golden. Remove, let cool.
4. In a bowl, combine berries and mapple syrup. Let soak until they are ready to be dessert.
5. Slice the cake, place on a plate. Add the berries between the cookies. Serve garnished with whipped cream.
