Beef With Oyster Sauce

Beef With Oyster Sauce Recipe

1 lb Beefsteak (such as tenderloin)
1 bunch of green onions roughly chopped
4 tbsp Beef stock
3 1/2 tbsp Vegetable oil
2 1/2 tbsp Oyster sauce
2 tbsp Water
2 tbsp red vinegar
1 tbsp Soy sauce
2 tsp Cornstarch
1/2 tsp Salt
2 sl Ginger root, chopped
Pinch of sugar

How To Make:
1. Cut the beef into small thin slices and rub these with the salt and 1/2 tablespoon of oil.
2. Mix the soy sauce, cornstarch, water, vinegar and stock in a bowl until well blended.
3. Heat the oil in a frying pan. When hot add the beef, spreading the pieces out, and stir-fry them over a high heat for 1 minute. Add the ginger, green onions followed by the oyster sauce and sugar, and continue to stir-fry for 30 seconds.
4. Pour in the cornstarch mixture from the bowl, and continue to stir-fry over a high heat for a further minute.
5. Serve immediately.
