Cheddar Apple Frittata

Cheddar Apple Frittata Recipe

Ingredients:
8 large eggs plus 2 large egg whites
6 – 8 strips of bacon, cooked
4 ounces cheddar cheese, coarsely grated
2 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced thinly using a mandoline
1 tbsp butter
Coarse salt and ground pepper

How To Make:
1. Preheat oven to 450F degrees.
2. With oven-proof skillet, melt butter. Then add the sliced apples. Saute for 1 minute.
3. Add bacon over the apples.
4. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, beat eggs until frothy. Add cheddar, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
5. Pour the egg mixture into skillet, cover the apples and bacon. Cook for 3 minutes and never stirred.
6. Transfer frittata in the oven, bake for 15 minutes.
7. Once cooked, cut into pieces and serve.
