Ingredients:
4 turnips (about 1 1/2 pounds)
2 pounds boneless stewing beef, cut into chunks
3 large carrots
3 slices ginger
2 green onions
3 cups beef broth
1 cup water
3 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp oil, or as needed
2 tbsp Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar

How To make:
1. Cut the radishes. Peel carrots and cut into thin diagonal. Minced ginger. Cut Green Onions into three.
2. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add ginger. Add beef, cook until browned.
3. Add beef broth, water, rice wine and 1 tablespoon soy sauce. Cover and bring to a boil. Leave for 1 hour.
4. Add vegetables, light soy sauce, and brown sugar. Bring to a boil again for 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper added.
5. Serve with rice or noodles.
