Ribs with Mushrooms and Red Wine Sauce

Ribs with Mushrooms and Red Wine Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
3 lb beef simmering short ribs
1 pkg dried porcini mushrooms
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 carrots, diced
2 onions, chopped
1 can diced tomatoes
2 cups button mushrooms
3/4 cup red wine
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar or wine vinegar
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tbsp crumbled dried rosemary
1 tbsp vegetable oil
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

How To Make:
1. Soak mushrooms in 250 ml of hot water, let stand for 20 minutes. Then drain. Set aside soaking liquid.
2. Cut the ribs, broil, turning occasionally until golden. Then place it in a slow-cooker.
3. In a large skillet, panasakn oil on high heat. Saute mushrooms, carrots, Onions, garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper. Cook until tender. Then transfer to a slow-cooker, and add tomatoes.
4. Whisk together, soaking water, wine and tomato paste. Then pour into the slow-cooker.
5. Cover and cook on low level for 7-8 hours, until meat is tender.
6. In a small bowl, combine flour, vinegar and water. Pour into slow-cooker. Cook 15 minutes until thickened.
7. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
