Capellini With Shrimp And Creamy Tomato Sauce

Capellini With Shrimp And Creamy Tomato Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
1 lb peeled large shrimp
1/2 lb capellini (angel-hair pasta)
3 large garlic cloves, forced through a garlic press
1 can diced tomatoes, drained
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sweet red vermouth
3 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp dried oregano

How To Make:
1. Heat oil in large skillet, over medium-high heat. Then mix the shrimp, garlic and oregano. Cook a minute, then season with salt and pepper.
2. Stir in vermouth and tomato, put in skillet. Cook until golden.
3. Add cream and simmer until sauce thickens. Then add the lemon juice.
4. Meanwhile, cook Capellini in salted water, until al dente. Then drain.
5. Serve pasta with shrimp and sauce.
