Pan-Seared Tuna With Lime Pepper Crust

Pan-Seared Tuna With Lime Pepper Crust Recipe

Ingredients:
4 tuna steaks
Zest and juice of one lime
2 tsp dried thyme leaves
1 to 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 to 1 tsp coarsely-ground pepper
1/4 tsp salt
Extra-virgin olive oil

How To Make:
1. Rinse tuna, dry with paper towels.
2. Grated orange peel, until you get 1 1 / 2 tsp. then squeeze the oranges and set aside.
3. In a small bowl, combine lime Zest, thyme, pepper and salt. Mix well.
4. Rub both sides of tuna with olive oil, then coat tuna with spice mixture.
5. Heat olive oil in an iron skillet, put the tuna into the pan, let stand for 1 minute, then burn the other side for 1 minute. Lift, then flush with lime juice, and serve.
