Appetizer Recipe: Candied Hazelnut Brittle

Candied Hazelnut Brittle

Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup chopped roasted hazelnuts
3 tbsps water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp cream of tartar
Cooking spray

How To Make:
1. Line a baking sheet with foil, then coat foil with cooking spray.
2. In a medium saucepan combine sugar, water, and cream of tartar, stir to dissolve sugar. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook until mixture is golden brown, stirring occasionally.
3. Remove from heat, and stir in hazelnuts and vanilla. Spread mixture onto prepared baking sheet. Cool completely. Break into pieces.
